A 14-15 year old kid who’s parents are fighting, has few friends, bad grades, and feels like complete shit before the Doctor comes.

No kissing, complicated relationships, confusion or stuff like that, just the Doctor taking a kid who doesn’t see much out of life for a ride.

It's already been released that John Hurt is the ninth Doctor, thus bumping Matt Smith to the twelth Doctor. Hurt is somehow a regeneration that was forgotton, but it will be explained with the 50th.

Don’t even know why I’m theorizing, I totally missed the last series out of pure disinterest, but this series was quite exciting. That’s one of the things I love about Doctor Who, it makes your brain, like… melt!

John Hurt can't be an older Matt Smith because then her wouldn't have recognized himself. Maybe an old eight though?

another theory could be that if clara is echoes all over smith’s timestream then she is constantly saving him, and she came into the world via that red leaf then that means she had to save him for the “last time” as he is the “last doctor” and she didn’t die going into the rift. the doctor did say at one point about the paradox being really bad as there is days he hasn’t even lived yet, so is the real clara protecting him to make sure he lives as long as he could, because we did not see a regeneration stage, and john hurt looks like a well-lived matt smith??
